The 2025 New York (NYSPHSAA) high school football playoffs continue on Sunday with the weather-delayed Class A West Semifinals matchup between Brighton (10-2) and Union-Endicott (9-2). The game was originally scheduled to be played Friday, but was moved to Sunday because of a snowstorm that dumped nearly a foot of snow on the Syracuse area. Union-Endicott, the fourth-ranked team in the state, is coming off a 46-22 win over Whitesboro in the Class A quarterfinals. Tigers’ quarterback Joseph Gennarelli Jr. had another impressive game with 168 yards passing, 138 yards rushing and three total touchdowns. He also intercepted a pass on defense.
