The National Weather Service issued a report at 12:13 a.m. on Sunday for heavy snow until 1:15 a.m. for Warren, McKean, Potter, Elk and Cameron counties.
"At 12:12 a.m., a band of heavy snow was located along a line extending from 16 miles southwest of Jamestown to near St. Marys. Movement was northeast at 35 mph," says the weather service.
Locations impacted by the alert include St. Marys, Warren, Bradford, Ridgway, Kane, Johnsonburg, Corry, Cameron, Wharton, Coudersport, Port Allegany, Sheffield, Emporium, Columbus, Youngsville, Smethport, Wetmore, Russell, Roulette and Shinglehouse.
