Inever understood why some people hold such strong bias toward certain dog breeds. Too often, a single misleading video of a provoked dog convinces people that the entire breed is dangerous.

That belief simply is not true. No breed is born more aggressive than another.

A dog’s behavior depends entirely on how it is raised and treated. Some may react defensively when pushed, while others stay calm. A dog’s appearance has nothing to do with it.

One clear example of this unfairness is Rocky, a pit bull who spent far too long in McDonough Rescue shelter in California because no one seemed willing to give him a home.
