A teenager was arrested by police in a Midlands village, leading to the discovery of drugs alongside 'fake currency'.

The arrest was carried out in the Wombourne area of South Staffordshire on Thursday night (November 27).

Staffordshire Police officers received to reports of males who were seen 'acting suspiciously' and 'possibly carrying weapons'.

It led to the arrest of a 15-year-old boy who was detained on suspicion of drug offences, possession of an offensive weapon, and possession of counterfeit currency.
