GRAY COURT, S.C. —

A motorcyclist has died after a crash in Laurens County, South Carolina, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

Troopers say it happened around 5:50 p.m. Saturday on Highway 101 near Taurus Drive in Gray Court.

They say a 2011 Kawasaki motorcycle was traveling north on Highway 101 when the driver lost control and fell into the southbound lane. The motorcyclist was then hit by a 2015 Honda sedan.

Troopers tell us that the driver of the motorcycle died on the scene.

The coroner has not yet identified the victim.
