An Evri delivery driver has been dismissed after residents of Netherton noticed they weren't receiving their parcels, leading to some amateur detective work and suspicious CCTV footage. The community contacted the media after observing a courier seemingly walking away with their packages on security cameras.

Residents received delivery confirmation notifications from Evri, including photos of the parcels outside their doors, but were dismayed to discover that the packages had vanished by the time they went to collect them.

Footage captured on residents' CCTV cameras reveals an Evri courier failing to knock on doors or ring doorbells before placing a parcel in front of the door, photographing it, picking the package back up and walking away.
