Kenosha mother mourns loss of three children in Thanksgiving fire

A Wisconsin mother is mourning the loss of her three children, who died in a fire at their father's apartment on Thanksgiving Day.

"Instead of Christmas shopping, it's casket shopping," said Jourdan Feasby, the mother of 10-year-old Rylee, 9-year-old Connor and 7-year-old Alena.

The fire happened at an apartment complex in the city of Kenosha, with flames breaking out around 10:30 p.m., according to the Kenosha Fire Department.

Feasby had spent Thanksgiving morning with her children before they were dropped off at their father's apartment later that evening.

"I couldn't process what I was hearing on the phone. They were just my whole world, and they were literally the brightest things that I have ever had in my life," Feasby said.
