As we wrap up the holiday weekend and look ahead to heading back to work and school, we’re keeping our eyes on a messy mix of precipitation arriving late Monday into early Tuesday.

Most of Monday will be dry but we will continue the stretch of below-normal temperatures. Normally we would warm into the lower 50s by this time of year, but highs will be stuck in the upper 30s.

A developing storm system will bring a variety of precipitation types to the area Monday night.

With this being the first significant snow system of the season a Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for most of the WLKY viewing area, including metro Louisville from Monday at 10PM until Tuesday at 9AM.
