Guest conductor Edith Copley to appear at ‘A Chorale Christmas’
This December the Phoenix Chorale will perform four concerts to celebrate the season.
Led by guest conductor Dr. Edith Copley, “A Chorale Christmas” weaves together music of reflection and celebration — from centuries-old carols to beloved songs of winter.
The first half of the program, organized into four themed sections — The Prophecy, The Angels, The Shepherds, and He Is Born — presents carols and choral masterworks including “Veni,” “Veni Emmanuel,” “A Spotless Rose,” “Lo, How a Rose E’er Blooming,” and “O Magnum Mysterium.”
