The National Weather Service issued a winter storm watch at 1:07 p.m. on Sunday valid for Tuesday between 3 a.m. and 10 p.m. for Northern Wayne and Southern Wayne as well as Bradford, Susquehanna, Wyoming, Lackawanna, Luzerne and Pike counties.
The weather service states, "Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 6 inches or more possible."
"Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Tuesday morning and evening commutes," says the weather service. "Monitor the latest forecasts for updates on this situation."
