On Sunday at 1:14 p.m. the National Weather Service released a winter storm watch valid from Tuesday 7 a.m. until Wednesday 1 a.m. for Hamilton County.
The weather service states, "Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations over 6 inches."
"Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning and evening commutes," explains the weather service. "Monitor the latest forecasts for updates on this situation. Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways.
