A 61-year-old South Brunswick woman was killed in a three-car crash on Wednesday, Nov. 26, authorities said.

At 4:24 p.m., first responders were on the scene of a 3-car crash on New Road between Route 522and Route 1, South Brunswick police said.

The woman, one of the drivers, was taken to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced dead at 10:19 p.m., police said. She has not been identified, police said.

The crash remains under investigation, police said.
