(WNDU) - The Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Indiana Hoosiers stayed put once again in the latest Associated Press Top 25 college football poll .
The Irish (10-2) remain at No. 9 after routing Stanford in their regular season finale while the Hoosiers (12-0) stayed at No. 2 after dominating Purdue to clinch their first perfect regular season record in program history and first-ever berth to the Big Ten championship game. IU received five first-place votes in this week’s poll while top-ranked Ohio State received the other 61.
As for other regional teams in the poll, Michigan dropped three spots from No. 15 to No. 18 after losing to Ohio State.
The fifth College Football Playoff rankings will be released this Tuesday night, and they’ll be a more telling sign of Notre Dame’s playof
