AUBURN, Ala. (WTVM) — A plane carrying Auburn’s newly hired football coach Alex Golesh arrived on the Plains on Sunday afternoon.

The plane was taken to a hangar with no public access for media or fans. Members of the marching band could be seen leaving the facility following the plane’s arrival.

A motorcade left the airport shortly afterward. An introductory news conference is scheduled for Monday afternoon.

Coach Golesh and his family will make their first Tiger Walk down Donahue Drive on Monday at 11:45 am CT, followed by a pep rally with the Auburn University Marching Band, cheerleaders and Aubie, as well as the first chance to hear from Coach Golesh in Tiger Walk Plaza.

Golesh and Athletics Director John Cohen will meet with the media on Monday at 12PM CT in the Anderson-Thorne
