Glassboro extended the state’s longest winning streak to 27 games Sunday and won its second-consecutive NJSIAA/Xfinity Group 1 championship with a closer-than-expected 29-14 victory over Cedar Grove at Rutgers Stadium.

Glassboro finished undefeated for the second-straight season, finishing 14-0 this season after a 13-0 campaign in 2024.

The Bulldogs, who have won 33 of their last 34 games, defeated Cedar Grove in the Group 1 final for the second season in a row. Last season, Glassboro won, 56-14.

Glassboro finished the season as New Jersey’s highest-scoring team, with 621 points. It also allowed the fewest points in the state (76).
