The sheriff’s office announced on Sunday that the victims were 8, 9, 14 and 21 years old. 11 other people were also shot and taken to a hospital.
The Sutter Memorial Hospital in Sacramento confirmed to NBC Bay Area they were treating three of the adult victims and said they are in stable condition.
Authorities reported the shooting took place just before 6 p.m. Saturday, at a banquet hall located in the 1900 block of Lucile Avenue, where a child’s birthday party was happening with between 100 and 150 people in attendance.
