STOCKTON, Calif. — A mass shooting in Stockton left behind 15 victims, four of which have died, at a family gathering.
According to the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office, the shooting happened along the 1900 block of Lucile Avenue, near Thornton Road, just before 6 p.m.
Sheriff's spokesperson Heather Brent said Saturday night the shooting might be a targeted incident. She said the ages of the victims range from juvenile to adult. On Sunday, the sheriff's office said the ages of the deceased are 8, 9, 14 and 21.
On Saturday, a spokesperson for St. Joseph's Medical Center said they received three patients as a result of the shooting.
