7BUFFALO, NY – A Jamestown woman is facing federal drug charges after investigators seized methamphetamine and a firearm during a search of her residence, prosecutors said.
U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo announced the arrest of 23-year-old Micayla L. Blair, who is charged by criminal complaint with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
The charge carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $1 million.
Investigators executed a search warrant on October 30 at a William Street address linked to Blair, where they found suspected crystal methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and a pistol.
Authorities said Blair was taken into custody and made her first appearance before U.S. Magistrate Judge Michael J. Roemer, who ordered her detained.
