Joe Sugg has revealed how he was wrongly connected to a fellow contestant before his genuine Strictly romance with Dianne Buswell blossomed.

The YouTube sensation fell in love with his dance partner Dianne while performing on the BBC show in 2018.

They have been together ever since and are preparing to welcome their first child, a baby boy, together.

But Joe revealed that nobody spotted the connection between him and Dianne, and they had actually thought the Strictly Come Dancing 'curse' had strucky with another contestant.
