UAlbany got to the foul line in the first half, making 10 of 12 shots, on its way to a 52-30 halftime lead over SUNY Oneonta in the Northern Classic in Laval, Quebec on Sunday. That turned out to be plenty of cushion in the Great Danes' 90-62 win at Place Bell.
Okechukwu Okeke had a double-double of 17 points and 12 rebounds in just 22 minutes to lead UAlbany (3-6). Nasir Muhammad and Amir Lindsey each added 16 points, with Muhammad also grabbing eight rebounds. Isaac Abidde finished with 14 points.
