Police say the scene is secure following an armed robbery with shots fired in Edina on Sunday.

Details are limited, but the Edina Police Department announced just before 6 p.m. that there was a large law enforcement presence in the 7100 block of France Avenue following a report of an armed robbery with shots fired.

At 6:55 p.m., police said the robbery scene "has been secured" and that a victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The incident happened in an area just south of the Galleria mall.

No further information has been disclosed.
