BILOXI, Miss. (WLOX) - Pentecostals of the Gulf Coast in Biloxi is working to make its community stronger one Sunday at a time through monthly ‘Friends-and-Family-Day’ events that bring the congregation together.

Following Sunday’s service, a portion of the church was transformed into a Christmas wonderland, and echoing holiday classics weren’t the only thing adding to the holiday surprise.

“[You hear] the sounds of Christmas as soon as you walk through the door,” Angela Husley, a church member and event organizer said.

Homemade cookies and cakes from a bake goods vendor—one of 21 at the market—helped churn out some Christmas spirit early.
