UNION CITY — Christian City is hosting its annual Christmas Star Run in conjunction with a tree lighting ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 6.
The race begins at 5 p.m. followed by the tree lighting at 6 p.m.
All proceeds from the event directly benefit Christian City’s Children and Family programs.
“The Christmas Star Run has become such a special tradition for our community as a way to come together, celebrate the season and support the children and families who need us most,” Christian City President and CEO Keith Horton said. “For 60 years, Christian City has been a place where people find safety, purpose and belonging, and this event reflects that same spirit.”
The Christmas Star Run serves as a Peachtree Road Race qualifier and includes a 5K and a 1-mile run.
