Vikings' Max Brosmer would've had a better quarterback rating if he spiked the ball every play
The reviews on Max Brosmer coming out of the preseason were positive.
This undrafted rookie QB out of the University of Minnesota looked like he might have a future somewhere on the Minnesota Vikings depth chart.
But pressed into duty, still in his rookie season, for a start in front of the loud Seattle fanbase, Brosmer had a nightmare debut.
He went 19-for-30 for 126 yards and threw four interceptions.
One of the picks was particularly bad: Brosmer was trying to escape a sack and threw an underhand pass a bit down the field, and Seattle's Ernest Jones IV stepped in front of it and returned it 84 yards for a pick-six.
