SPOKANE, Wash. – Spokane hosted a European-style winter market this weekend, offering locals a chance to skip the usual Black Friday rush and shop locally.
The market featured warm drinks, seasonal flavors, handcrafted goods and local makers from various industries. Families enjoyed photos with Santa, creating miniature Charlie Brown Christmas trees and live music throughout the event.
Spokane's unique culture was on full display, with people of all ages enjoying the holiday festivities. The market concluded at 4 p.m. Sunday, but more events are planned for December.
