A Suffolk homeowner has described how her family has been having to deal with foul sewage water flooding into her home when it rains heavily over the last three years.
Anna-Jane Welham, who lives at Bedfield near Framlingham, is calling on water firm Anglian Water to upgrade the sewage system as appliances at her home, including the shower, toilets and dishwasher fill with sewage during heavy rainfall.
She has lived at the Southolt Road home with her children Esme and Vinnie and partner Luke since 2019, but said the flooding problem had become particularly acute since the area was hit by Storm Babet in October 2023.
The storm deluged the area with heavy rainfall, flooding roads and homes.
She has spoken to Anglian Water about the situation and said staff from the firm had installed a n
