An e-bike rider is to appear in court on suspicion of possessing Class A and B drugs.

Sudbury police responded to calls of Surron e-bikes being ridden in an anti-social and dangerous manner on Sunday, November 30.

Police found a "significant quantity" of Class A and Class B drugs at the scene.

On Monday morning, James Stranwick, 19, of Hoxter Way in Sudbury, was charged with possession with intent to supply Class A and Class B drugs.

During the incident, police seized the e-bike for having no insurance and the rider will face charges for driving offences.

A spokesman for Sudbury police said: "We remain committed to tackling anti-social behaviour and drug-related crime in our community."
