The Delaware State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating a pair of house fires at opposite ends of the state on Sunday, November 30, 2025.

Just before 6 a.m. Sussex County fire crews arrives in the Pot Nets Creekside development with a manufactured home engulfed in flames.

The occupants were out of the residence when firefighters arrived but one person suffered a burn injury while attempting to put the fire out.

At around 4 p.m. firefighters rushed to the Newport area for a fire on Glover Circle.

Smoke was coming from a one story rancher when they arrived.

No injuries were reported in that incident.
