SUFFOLK, Va. — Suffolk Public Schools is dealing with a division-wide phone outage that began Monday, leaving all schools and central offices unable to send or receive calls from any landline. The disruption is also impacting the school division’s Transportation Department, which is currently unable to send bus notifications to families.
School officials said they are working with their service provider to identify the cause of the outage and restore communication as quickly as possible.
In a statement, the division apologized for the inconvenience and thanked families and staff for their patience while the issue is being resolved.
