SCOTLAND COUNTY, N.C. (WBTW) — Authorities last week identified the remains of a man last seen in Scotland County, North Carolina, more than four years ago.

Brandon Carl Wayne McDonald left his Clarkton, North Carolina, home on March 25, 2021, en route to Laurinburg, when he disappeared. A task force set up last summer revived the case and led to the arrests of three people who have been charged with his murder.
