Former St. Louis Rams star and Pro Football Hall of Famer Marshall Faulk has been hired as the head football coach at Southern University, the school announced.
Faulk, 52, joins Southern after spending one season as the running backs coach at Colorado under head coach Deion Sanders. He will be introduced by Southern at a press conference on campus in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on Monday.
“Coach Faulk to take the reins. Welcome to Jaguar Nation,” Southern University athletics wrote in a post on X late Saturday announcing Faulk’s hiring.
Faulk replaces former head coach Terrence Graves, who was fired in October amid the Jaguars’ 1-6 start to this season. Southern finished the season 2-10 overall.
