CLEVELAND, Ohio – Multiple cheese products have been recalled after testing confirmed the presence of Listeria monocytogenes, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
The Ambriola Co. is recalling the products, which were distributed to retail stores and distributors nationwide between Nov. 3 and Nov. 20.
Routine testing confirmed the presence of Listeria monocytogenes, an organism that can cause fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems, the FDA said.
