Andy Halliday believes Jack Milne's impressive form for Aberdeen could make it "very difficult" for Scotland boss Steve Clarke to ignore.

The Dons defender has made 19 appearances under Jimmy Thelin so far this season after a breakthrough performance in the Scottish Cup Final last term.

His recent outing brought yet another impressive display as the 22-year-old fended off wave after wave of Livingston attacks before Nicky Devlin's late winner sealed a 1-0 victory in West Lothian.

Clarke will soon be drawing up his squad for the 2026 World Cup , and Motherwell's Halliday believes the Aberdeen academy graduate is in the conversation for which defenders head to North America.
