Consider it an after-Thanksgiving sale on gasoline that could go on for a few weeks.

"Michigan motorists are seeing lower prices at the pump as we enter the month of December," Adrienne Woodland, a spokeswoman for AAA auto club said, adding it follows "a busy Thanksgiving travel weekend."

Gasoline prices in Michigan fell, on average, to $2.96 a gallon for regular unleaded on Sunday, Nov. 30. That's a drop of 15 cents from a week ago, according to AAA, which tracks gas prices nationwide.
