Authorities have identified the man who was killed the day after Thanksgiving after crashing into a utility pole in Bristol.
James Amayi-Kelley, 42, of Andover, Massachusetts, crashed at the Battle Street at James P. Casey Road intersection on Friday, Nov. 28, soon after 11:30 p.m., Bristol police said. The impact ejected him from the vehicle.
Police performed life-saving efforts at the scene, and paramedics rushed him to Bristol Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Police have notified his family.
This was the second fatal crash into a Bristol utility pole last week.
Jonathan Edward Whittle, of Bristol, was killed after crashing just before 11 p.m. on Wednesday on Broad Street, authorities had said.
Bristol police are investigating the cause of the crashes.
