Police in the US are urgently searching for the newborn baby of a heavily pregnant woman whose body was discovered in a wooded area, days before she was due to give birth. Rebecca Park, 22, vanished on the evening of November 4 after leaving her mother's home. She was 38 weeks pregnant at the time. According to witnesses, she was seen getting into the front passenger seat of a dark-coloured car parked outside the house. After that moment, she seemingly disappeared.

Her mobile phone was later found discarded close to her mother's property, raising immediate concerns.
