CAPE CORAL, Fla. — Three people from Maine were killed Saturday in a boating incident on the Caloosahatchee River near the Cape Coral Yacht Club in Florida, authorities said.
Craig Millett, 56, and his wife, Brenna Millett, 49, along with Rebecca Knight, 48, all died after the 39-foot vessel they were aboard was involved in an incident on the river, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission said. All three were Cape Coral residents who also lived in Maine, according to officials.
Brenna Millett and Knight died at a nearby hospital shortly after the accident, while Craig Millett’s body was recovered by FWC divers Sunday around 12:30 p.m. Sunday, according to officials.
A fourth person on the boat, Neal Kirby, was hospitalized and in critical condition as of Monday, officials
