WASHINGTON, Pa. —
A woman was injured during a robbery attempt at Washington Food Mart on West Chestnut Street. Police were called around 10:30 p.m. Sunday for a robbery in progress.

"One had looked at me and said, 'Give me everything you got.' I kind of thought he was joking with me, because I do got some customers that come in and do that," Morgan said. "Well, then he burnished a gun."
According to police, the victim was playing the games of chance machines in the store when three teenagers attempted to rob the store. She tried to defend herself with a legally concealed firearm.
