A 30-year-old Bergen County man who allegedly spent months harassing his neighbors through text messages was arrested after officers responded to a dispute at his home Thanksgiving weekend, authorities said.
Jisoo Moon began texting his Palisades Park neighbors harassing messages in March 2024, believing that they called police to have him committed to Bergen New Bridge Medical Center, according to Palisades Park Police Capt. James Rotundo.
The charges, cyber harassment, terroristic threats, and stalking, were filed in May 2024 and placed on a warrant, records show.
On Sunday, Nov. 30, Ridgefield police responded to an argument between Moon and his mother at their home on Broad Avenue in Ridgefield, Rotundo tells Daily Voice.
While on scene, officers learned Moon was wanted on the open warrant, at which point he was arrested and taken to Palisades Park for processing. He was subsequently lodged in the county jail.
