Michigan State’s leading rusher plans to enter the transfer portal.
The team’s top wide receiver is also taking that path.
Sophomore receiver Nick Marsh plans to enter the portal, he announced via social media on Monday. That news came after sophomore running back Makhi Frazier announced Sunday night he’s heading to the portal .
Marsh has 100 catches for 1,311 yards and nine touchdowns in two seasons with the Spartans.
The potential departures come in the wake of second-year coach Jonathan Smith being fired on Sunday and reports that Michigan State is closing in on hiring former Northwestern coach Pat Fitzgerald as his replacement .
