EUCLID, Ohio (WOIO) - A fire destroyed a cabinet and countertop business Sunday night, causing an estimated $400,000 in damage and leaving the owner searching for his dog that was inside when the flames started.
The fire broke out at M & K, a cabinet and countertop business in Euclid on East 200th and Trebec Avenue.
The flames were so intense the roof collapsed, leaving broken windows and rubble throughout the building.
Multiple fire departments worked nearly four hours to extinguish the blaze. The owner said he lost nearly everything in the fire.
Power outages affect neighboring businesses
The fire knocked out power to neighboring businesses, including Jack’s Automatic Transmission next door.
