A Pontiac mother accused of abandoning her three children, leaving them to live in squalid conditions for years, pleaded no contest to welfare fraud charges in the case.

Kelli Bryant , 34, made her pleas Dec. 1 in Oakland County Circuit Court, according to a release from the county prosecutor's office. It said there was no sentencing agreement or offer of leniency from the prosecutor's office.
