GAYLORD — The Gaylord Area Convention & Tourism Bureau has donated $5,000 to the Gaylord Snowmobile Trails Council to aid in the cleanup of ice storm damage on the local trail system.
Otsego County, home to nearly 100 miles of groomed snowmobile trails, faced significant challenges following an unprecedented ice storm in April. The Michigan Department of Natural Resources initially cleared the trails, and the Gaylord Snowmobile Trails Council completed the restoration by fall, ensuring the trails are safe for the upcoming snowmobiling season.
