GEORGETOWN, Texas — Authorities have located a body in the search for a man who went missing on Friday.

Georgetown police said the body of 18-year-old Kenley Bommarito, who was reported missing on Nov. 28, was found in Lake Georgetown on Tuesday. Bommarito's body was found using underwater sonar.

Officials said Bommarito was last seen at a campsite in Sawyer Park near the lake. The circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear.

"We extend our deepest condolences to Kenley’s family and friends as they endure this unimaginable loss," the Georgetown Police Department said. "We also extend our sincere appreciation to all the agencies, organizations, and volunteers who helped and to all who offered up prayers and words of encouragement."
