The San Francisco Board of Supervisors voted December 2 to settle the second of two lawsuits against the city and county due to a now-lapsed program that sought to provide guaranteed income to some transgender people. The settlement is for $50,000 and non-monetary terms.
On December 2, the board voted 11-0 to approve the settlement. Because it is an ordinance, a second and final vote needs to be taken next week.
