2BALTIMORE, MD – A stolen car report on North Payson Street turned into a full-scale pursuit Monday that ended with the arrest of four juveniles in East Baltimore.

Police say the incident began around 11:23 a.m. when a 27-year-old woman discovered her parked car had vanished from the 1600 block of North Payson Street.

By nightfall, officers had located the missing vehicle near East North Avenue and North Washington Street.

Aviation units tracked the car as it sped through city streets, eventually following it to the 4500 block of Buchanan Road where the occupants bolted from the vehicle and tried to run.

After a short chase, police caught four suspects — two girls and two boys, all aged 13 and 14.
