OZARK -- Franklin County Learning Center and a former employee are being sued over a 2018 incident that resulted in a toddler receiving a concussion and the employee responsible pleading guilty to battery and endangering welfare charges.

In a lawsuit filed Nov. 21, parents Bethany Stark and Joseph Stark, guardians of a child identified as J.S. in court documents, are seeking damages from Franklin County Learning Center and former employee Ashton Graham.

Graham was arrested following an Ozark Police Department investigation in 2018 and ultimately pleaded guilty in April 2019 to charges of second-degree battery and first-degree endangering welfare of an incompetent person, according to court documents. She was sentenced to 3 years of probation.
