LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - What happened to Brianna Aguilera?

Brianna Aguilera, a young woman from Laredo and a student at Texas A&M, died in Austin after attending a tailgate last Friday — a case that has since drawn national attention.

Her body was discovered the following day, Saturday, Nov. 29, near an apartment complex. Austin police say Aguilera fell from a 17th‑floor unit. Her mother, speaking to KGNS, has disputed that account and is pushing back against the police version of events.

U.S. Congressman Henry Cuellar posted condolences on social media and said his office has been monitoring the situation and will continue to follow developments closely.
