LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - Two people were arrested Friday afternoon after allegedly attempting to break into vehicles, according to Laredo Police.
Officers were called to the corner of Hendricks and East Frost Street, where a witness told them they saw two men in the area—one wearing a ski mask—trying to open car doors.
Police tracked the suspects to the 3100 block of Logan Avenue. When approached, both tried to run but were quickly caught. The two were identified as Juan Angel Mendoza and Roberto Gonzalez, both 17. Officers said they found multiple pairs of sunglasses, cologne, and other items that were later returned to their owner.
Mendoza and Gonzalez were arrested and taken to the Webb County Jail.
