LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Two more people were indicted in the killing of a federal informant in Lexington.

It stems from a deadly shooting on trade street in 2023 where 28-year-old Kristopher Lewis was killed.

Prosecutors say a gang called “the Hot Boyz” ordered a hit on Lewis because he was going to testify in a court case.

Eight people have now been indicted in the shooting.

That list now includes Casey Morris and Quincino Waide Jr.

Morris is accused of being part of the conspiracy and could face life in prison.

Waide is accused of helping the other suspects after the shooting.
